A Picture is Worth a Million Words

This pretty much sums up our entire week. I have felt like sitting down and making this face more times than I like to count. Thankfully, we are all on the mend and getting better each day *crossing fingers*. (And in case you're wondering, she's crying like that because her Daddy just left the room. I was still standing right there, but she didn't seem comforted. She is 100% her daddy's girl. I guess she's still too young to be guilted by the whole "carried you for 9 months" and "major abdominal surgery" stories.)

Anyway, we had scheduled our family pictures for tomorrow, but that's going to be cancelled. You can't see it well in the picture, but Allison has a nice bruise on her cheek where she slipped and fell in the dressing room at The Children's Place. No one said shopping was a spectator sport. You've got to get down and dirty if you want to make a trip to the mall worth your time.

I'm sure the bruise wouldn't show up in the pictures, but I don't want to mess with trying to cover it up with makeup just in case. And it's not just her bruise that is making me cancel the photo shoot. (I'm certainly not above putting a little makeup on my baby). But I have two brand new pimples on my face that refuse to be covered up. So we're rescheduling for another day after my face clears up...since it really is all about me.

I kid.

It's not just about my face.

It's also about the fact that I still haven't decided on what to wear.

Well, you know, if you'd act like you like her every once in a while she probably wouldn't do this for Brent. :) Poor baby. I really hope she's feeling better. You won't believe it, but we were back at the doctor's office Friday afternoon with R. She starting running a fever Friday morning and still hasn't shaken it. Sigh.
