For those of you who are moms of two or more, you can appreciate how wonderful it is to steal a moment alone with just one of your kids.
After church, Allie went down for her nap wearing the shirt and tights she had on under her dress. As I was getting her up, I thought she looked so adorable that I didn't bother to put her dress back on!
Just look at those thighs!

In case you didn't get enough of them, I have taken the liberty of providing you with a close up.
My little marshmallow!
And as we are all painfully aware, there is a definite age limit as to when this look is still both cute and appropriate.
So we sat and read books, sang songs, and shared some quality alone time. She even got to sit in her OWN chair without fear of being flung to the floor by her sister who has decided that it is now her turn, effective immediately.
Just look at how happy she is to be an only child for a few minutes!

I thought I would try to get her to perform so I could put a video on the blog. Then everyone could see her say all the words she knows and watch her do the hand motions to all her songs.
And in true Allie fashion, she did just the opposite because the camera was on.
So here is a video of me begging my child to do all of her tricks, and her doing none of them in return.
Enjoy the "talking picture" (Lauryn lingo) of my sweet marshmallow baby!
Happy New Year!

Avery said Mama when you asked Allison to if that makes you feel better. How come they never perform when you want them to???
No you didn't make that baby wear lycra to bed. I wouldn't talk to you after that either...Ha!
Actually, they are made of cotton. :)
even without a performance she is precious. and her thighs are awesome!
Nicole,
You still look like a chipmunk.
But I love you anyway.
Happy new Year.
