Baby girl

We have had a really busy week. Lots to tell about but not enough time to do it! For today though, I'll write about Allison...like I meant to do a week ago!

I don't know when it happened, but my baby girl is not much of a baby anymore. Allison is really starting to act big (little tantrums included) and it amazes me at what all she can do.

She seems to pick up new words every day. Lots of them aren't crystal clear but we can recognize what she's saying. She calls Lauryn "La La". Today she said "Allie" as clear as a bell. She likes to point to her pictures on the wall and we go over who each person is. When she pointed to herself, I said, "That's Allie!" and she repeated me. Crazy!

Some of her favorite words (that she says daily) are "up", "Night-Night", "Dada", and "Uh-oh".

She loves to play Ring Around the Rosie. As soon as Lauryn takes her hands and starts to sing, she starts to laugh as they turn in a circle.

In fact, spinning of any kind sends her into fits of giggles. She will turn and turn until she is so dizzy that she can't stand up anymore, then she'll just laugh and laugh.

I can't decide if it's adorable or a little disturbing.

Anyway, she also loves to hold babies or anything resembling a baby (lately it's a stuffed Santa) and walks around with them, patting their backs. So sweet!

Here are a few pictures of Allie doing what Allie does...

Holding Santa hostage

Wearing a skirt on her head

Anything with elastic goes immediately on her head. This has made for some interesting ensembles, especially when she goes through the laundry basket in our closet.

Eating a graham cracker. It's a routine I accidentally started. It happened a couple of times, so now when she wakes up from her morning nap, she thinks she is supposed to have one. (Of course big sister also has to get in on that action. Can't be left out!)

We love our little Allie Girl!

so sweet! Our girls are doing so many of the same things. I was going to make a similar post about Avery and all the cute things she is doing. Especially love the fact that anything elastic goes on her head! Avery does that too.
