She was feeling the love this Valentine's Day and decided to create a drawing/gift for both of us. She drew this picture for Brent and me (to share, of course) and was soooo proud! I think it is the cutest thing I have ever seen.
Here is Brent's side of the picture. Because he likes the outdoors. And, apparently, bugs and snails.
This is the other side. It's a little hard to read (at least on my computer monitor) It says "Dad and Mom".Under that it says "Both sides" (so we won't forget to turn it over).
At the very bottom it says "For Sall" which translates to "For Sale".
She decided to draw things that each of us likes. So by the looks of things, it's clear I adore candles and, obviously, a good sale.
But I think my favorite thing in the entire world at this moment is the fact that she labeled the scents on the candles. One is "Cotton Candy Smell." The other?Beef Smell.
I can honestly say I have never come across a truly great beef-smelling candle. Maybe they're out there. I can just imagine inviting guests over for dinner. They walk in and start to rave over how amazing dinner smells.
Then you can simply tell them it's not dinner...it's your beef candle! GENIUS!
I LOVE this girl!
One of my favorite things about Lauryn is her creativity and ability to just make something. She doesn't ask for help or direction. She just does it.
She makes me smile.

That's a great idea. I need a candle for the appetizer, main course and dessert. Since I can't cook at all this will come in handy. Thanks Lauryn!

This was so funny that I even had to show Clay. Beef smell...that's a good one. And I'm cracking up that she put "for sale" on there...she'll be bargain shopping with us in no time!!! Hope you guys enjoy your Monday home together.
You know...she may have something there. Whenever I drive by a burger place and smell beef, it sure does smell GOOD! And, I always end up wanting a hamburger. :)
Of course! Like a pot roast. Genius. She is so precious.
