First

I got my first official call from the school nurse yesterday. Thankfully everything was ok...she was just giving me a heads up. There was a little accident on the playground involving a big, heavy swing and my baby's eye. She said she had a little bump on her eye from where it hit.











You think????


I love the look on her face. I doubt she could make a more pitiful face if she tried. But I can't blame her...it really does look painful! And on top of everything else her little lip is so chapped ...poor thing!

I'm sure this won't be the last time I get a call from the school nurse, but it was definitely one of those "rite of passage" moments for me. Will there ever be a time where it doesn't seem weird that my kid is old enough to be at school, and where a nurse takes care of her injuries instead of me!?
