If you can take it...more snow pictures!

I just have to document this, if nothing else, so we won't forget that this actually happened! Some areas around us are reporting 14 inches of snow (although I think it was only 8 or 9 inches at our house.) This is the most snow this area of Texas has seen in the history of ever. We're kind of a big deal. (Hello, national news!)

Anyway, I had too much fun with my camera this morning and took lots of pictures of our yard and our street. So pretty.
I promise you, this picture is so eerie. It looks just like the trees I remember at both my grandparents' houses in Iowa during the winter. I have wonderful memories of the few times we were in Iowa for Christmas when I was a kid. Made me a little teary eyed. I miss my Grandpas.

We had a casualty...lost a few limbs on the big tree in the front yard. But we were VERY lucky. The house across the street lost their entire tree. It was probably at least 30 years old.
Our driveway

Down the street...
Front of our house (you can't really see the actual house because the tree is hanging so low!)
More fun in the snow...this time with Daddy at home!

My dog has issues.
These are out of order...but here's our new snowman from this morning!

Such a good daddy :)
This will definitely be a storm to remember!

These are so beautiful! i woke up early and went out by myself with my camera! I counted a little while ago and had over 160 pictures snow and us playing in it! I just couldn't help myself. We might NEVER see snow in Texas like this again.
