Future in Sales?

Yesterday Lauryn's Daisy troop set up a table in front of the grocery store and sold cookies for an hour.

If I'm being honest, I was dreading it. It was supposed to be 50 degrees and I don't like to be cold. Also, I just knew she'd be tired from a full day at school AND a rescheduled Valentine's party that we missed due to the snow day last week.

However, the weather was actually great. We were facing the sun which provided plenty of warmth and we almost didn't need our coats.

And Lauryn was THRILLED to get a chance to sell cookies! I was so proud of her as I watched her politely ask every person who walked by if they'd like to buy Girl Scout Cookies. And she did it with a big smile on her face!

She even complained when it was time to go because she was enjoying it so much. She really came out of her shell and proved me wrong! I don't mind that from time to time :)

It's a good thing I didn't walk by. I would have been broke after seeing her cute little face!
