Lauryn sang in the children's choir at church this morning for the Palm Sunday service. She could hardly wait! Here she is right before we left for church.
This child has loved singing from the time she could speak.
She can pick up a song after hearing it on the radio a couple of times. I'll never forget when the song "Listen to Your Heart" was re-released with a cover version, and was played constantly on the radio. One day I looked at her in the rearview mirror and that song happened to be playing. Her little mouth was moving right along with the words! (According to Wikipedia, that was in 2005, so she was probably a little over 18 months old!)
She loves holding the microphone and giving a concert for us any time we'll stop and listen! She did a great job this morning at church, singing her heart out. So proud of our girl!

Aww, she was so sweet and little in that last picture. What a big girl now!! :) Just wait- in about 11 more years, she's going to be on American Idol!
