Well, it feels like about 14, but we've had lots going on in this past week. Mostly it involved daddy going out of town for work on Easter Sunday (we did get to go to early church before he had to leave, so that was good), and then mommy coming down with a random mystery virus mere hours after his plane took off.
The following two days are almost a blur, but I'm pretty sure it involved lots of whining and complaining (the girls tolerated me pretty well), incredible amounts of t.v. watching, a trip to the grocery store that single-handedly put me out for the rest of the day, and finally, a visit to the clinic Tuesday evening. Brent's plane landed and he headed straight over to Care Now to take the girls out to dinner while I loaded up on some fun (and very legal) medications. I felt 90% better about six hours after my first doses.
Antibiotics and steroids are now on the list of my top ten favorite things. Right up there with Braum's Chocolate Malt Ball ice cream and the sales racks at Target.
Anyway, we have lots of blogging to catch up on. I'm going to have to post in segments because there are sooo many pictures.
So, the weekend before Easter we had an egg hunt at church. Ethan and Rachel joined us for the festivities, and the kids all had a great time!

This will forever be one of my favorite pictures. Our friend Rachel really was happy to be there! But it makes for a hilarious shot!

Scoping out the eggs...hmmmmm, where should I run to first??

Allison stopped and opened each egg before putting it in her basket. Just to check and see if it was worth keeping or not.

Lauryn and Ethan, ready to hunt with the "big kids".

Another group shot! This is what you get when you tell them to "smile big"!!

Sorry to hear that you were sick, but glad that you are better. Glad the girls survived too!
I am NEVER able to upload pictures! I feel your pain.
Lauryn looks like a giant! I mean, she's just such a big kid now!
I love that picture of Allison pondering...too cute. Glad to hear you are all better.
