Sail Away

My birthday and Joey's (my soon to be brother-in-law) are a day apart. So, to celebrate, my mom planned a boat ride around the lake for the whole family. I was concerned that the girls would be bored and wondered how we could keep them entertained for a few hours on a boat.

I'm sad to say, this isn't the first time I've been wrong about something. I'm coming to terms with it.

Lauryn was absolutely in heaven. She said it was "the best day of her life". I think she started laughing and giggling before we even got on the boat! Allison (surprisingly) was a little reserved at first. I'm not sure she knew what to think, but after a while she warmed up and really enjoyed herself. It was a great way to spend our birthdays and to have some fun family bonding time!
