Last Friday night the girls had so much fun dyeing their Easter Eggs. Allie could hardly hold herself back. And she didn't try too hard.
They both did a really good job gently putting the egg in the dye. Last year we had some issues with "drop and plop", but this year things ended up staying pretty mess-free, eggs still in one piece.
We had a near miss, but she was able to catch it before it broke!
We thought it would be fun to throw a little experiment in there and have the girls dye a green egg without using the green dye. We all know that yellow and blue make green...so we told them to give it a try.
I'm pretty sure she wasn't buying it.
Well, what do you know...parents actually do know what they're talking about! (I love how Allie's waiting to see what the appropriate reaction should be!)

They were telling me all about the true meaning of Easter
All done!

They were telling me all about the true meaning of Easter(L is showing me the cross, and A is showing me the empty tomb!
Or binoculars.)
All done!

I love how your captions perfectly describe/explain their face expressions. I love the pic of the true meaning of Easter, but your self-congratulatory remark about your title is what really made me LOL. :)
