It's like one of those questions you don't know how to answer. Which do you want first...the good news or the bad news?
I like a happy ending, so we'll go with the bad news first.
Allison has no interest in getting rid of the diapers and graduating to "big girl panties". Doesn't even want to try. I've bribed with M&M's and lollipops and she just won't give in. Every time I ask her if she's ready to sit on the potty she says, "No. Just Lauryn."
Lauryn was trained at exactly 2 years old. I know you're not supposed to compare, but whatever. I'm sick of buying diapers.
Now for the good news.
Both Barbie and Elmo potty trained in less than a day.

I'm glad to know that after 50+ years barbie has FINALLY learned how to use the potty! I'm sure it won't be that long for Allison.

I'm so relieved that my kid is not the only one!! Avery is the SAME. She has used the potty and gone before. once, she did it two days in a row, but she doesn't care about the bribery either! I want her potty trained before this next kid gets here. I think I'm just going to slap some panties on her, and hope for the best.
