Tomorrow I might even start on my own closet!

I really do sometimes feel so sad when I realize that my girls are getting older. I am sad that they seem to grow right before my eyes on a daily basis. But this particular morning I found a reason to be thankful that they don't stay babies forever.

I was able to completely clean out both of their closets this morning. Put away summer clothes, set too-small clothes aside for donation, organize fall/winter clothes, and figure out what each girl still needs to get for this season (for some reason we are seriously lacking in pants! Lots of shirts, but no pants. Interesting...)

Anyway, this was no small task. It took a couple of hours this morning. Brent was busy working on the bathroom remodel, so the girls needed to be entertained.

And guess what...they are old enough to do it themselves!!

What better way to occupy yourself on a Saturday morning than to play "Puffy Cloud"?

I don't have a clue where the name came from, but I could hear it coming from the playroom repeatedly.

L: "Ok, Allie! It's MY turn to play Puffy Cloud!"
A: "Ok, Lauryn!"
**4 minutes of silence**
L: "Alright, Allie. Now you're the puffy cloud!"
A: "Oh, yes!!"

I know you are dying to know what Puffy Cloud is. One would be curious, that's for sure. Let me satisfy your curiosity.

From what I can tell, Puffy Cloud involves getting in the basket and being buried underneath an avalanche of stuffed animals and dolls.

Fun!

And it must be said. Entertaining themselves also includes several wardrobe changes. I am not responsible for the fashion statement represented above.

Yes, they have more fun playing their own games than anything we can muster up for them to do.

Gives us lots of blog material too! :-)

that looks like lots of fun to me! I love the creative name they gave the game. :) BTW, is Allison potty trained? Still no luck over here, but I'm not trying that hard.
