Today the girls had their Thanksgiving feast at school! I was able to leave my classroom and sit with both of them because they had different assigned meal times. Daddy was out of town and had to miss it :(
In the past the kids have been asked to bring an item (bread, can of green beans, etc.) and then some of the staff would fix everyone's plates and put them on the tables.
This year someone got smart and just had the whole thing catered by Chicken Express. Despite the fact that they have a flying chicken in their logo, it is actually very good chicken!
Every class made their own place mats and table decorations. Lauryn's class went as far as making Pilgrim costumes for the girls and boys to wear! She humored me long enough to take the picture, then asked for it to promptly be removed.
Enjoy the pictures!

It has taken me a while to warm up to chicken express. They put one in Lindale right before we moved. Craig likes it. What great pictures. I am looking forward(sort of) to Hayden having fun times like this at school. Happy "flying chicken" day.
That picture of Allison is so cute where she is tilting her head. LOVE IT!!
