I hesitated for a good 3 or 4 weeks, because I do NOT read books having anything remotely to do with mythological characters. It does not interest me in any way. (Except for this one time.)
But my friend kept "encouraging" me, and once I started I was hooked. And I am proud to say I have successfully created at least 3 other addicts. (Including my own mom who is now reading the 4th and final book!!)
It's such a fast, easy read that it's no big deal to grab it and read a few pages while making lunch or for a couple of minutes during nap time.
And since my days are pretty routine and typical (which I actually like very much, don't get me wrong) it's fun to get lost in an (obviously) fictional story filled with drama, romance, and suspense. Nothing at all what I "guessed" it would be about.
So if you're looking for a fun, easy read I highly recommend this series. And read the first book (Twilight) before November 21st when the movie comes out!
And since it is late and I have yet to get my Halloween pictures off the camera, this "book review" entry will have to serve as Day 3 of my 30 Days of Blogging :)
Halloween pictures tomorrow!

My name is Abby and I am a Twilight addict. (created by YOU)!
I love this series too! I'm rereading the 4th one..because I just can't let it go. Love the characters...and you are right it is an easy read. Her other book, The Host, is also good but not as easy :).
LOVE.
I was wondering what all this "twilight" talk was. I have been seeing it around. Now I know. I may have to check it out. Hmm...
