The girls and I are all fighting a yucky head cold this week. They are sleeping fine at night (thank goodness) and just seem to be the worst in the morning. Once they've been awake for a while they're fine.
I went in to get Allison from her crib this morning. She was just sitting there, with her pacifier in her mouth and socks pulled up to her knees. So sweet.
As soon as she saw me she pulled her pacifier out, bottom lip quivering, and started to cry saying, "Runny nooooose! Runny nooose!"
I picked her up, found the nasal aspirator (otherwise known in our house as the "nose sucker") and went to work. She doesn't mind it actually, and it really helps her feel better right away.
As soon I as finished working on her nose, she looked up at me and said, "Good morning, Mama."
Two days in a row this has happened. Next time I'm getting the video camera because it is just beyond adorable!

Omigosh!! Love it!! What a doll.
We are still using the nose sucker on Hazel. Such a pain. She just can't figure out how to blow, but she HATES the dreaded "sucker".
Such an adorable story about Allison. She is such a sweetie.
