So the other morning I was still in recovery from our all night coughing marathon. I was laying on the love seat with one eye open watching the girls play. Yes, even Lauryn was running around without a care in the world. You never would have known she had been up coughing and crying all night long.
Suddenly, Lauryn picked up the toy mop and started running it all over the living room floor. She stopped, looked at the bottom of the mop, then called for back-up.
Lauryn: "Allie! Get the broom and come in here!"
Allie: (silent) Dutifully does as she's told.
Lauryn: "Let's clean. This house is FULL of dirt!"
I guess I should have just cleaned at 3 a.m. instead of trying to go back to sleep in between her coughing fits. Oh, well. Live and learn.

HA! That's hilarious. Don't you know how to prioritize?!
That reminds me of a story----
One day, Owen ran into my neighbor's house to play with her little girl. I yelled out "Don't make a big mess!" and he yelled back, "It's already a big mess!" That was kind of embarassing. :)
HA! to your story and Lindsey's.
I love kids.
