The girls and I were out late this afternoon, so we drove through Sonic on the way home for a quick lunch before nap time.
Lauryn loves cheeseburgers, and that is usually her request when we go out to a restaurant. So she made sure to tell me several times before I ordered that she wanted a cheeseburger.
And just like everything else, she was hanging on every word I said as I was ordering.
That's when she caught me getting a little something extra for myself.
Lauryn: "Mommy, does iced caramel latte mean cheeseburger in Spanish??"
Me: "No, sweetie."
*thinking to myself* "It's English for Mommy needs an end-of-the-week pick-me-up."
I got caught, but I made sure to give both of them a taste of the whipped cream.
And if you're wondering how good Sonic's iced coffees are, I would have to give them a thumbs up.
Because if it's made with sugar and caramel with whipped cream on top, it's good enough for me.

That is hilarious!
HA! That's so funny. Owen was the same way- anytime he heard a word he didn't know he assumed we were speaking spanish. In fact...for a long time he thought pig-latin was spanish, but he wisened up.
ha! funny...I like Lindsey's comment too. Don't you just love kids.
