That was the scene that almost pushed me over the edge today. Just the relief in knowing she had a wonderful first day of kindergarten almost consumed me to the point where I had to fight back tears...at the END of the day! It certainly was an adjustment having her gone all day. She didn't cry at all, and I didn't either (until after we got home :) I'm so proud of our girl and thank God for watching over her today...she had the best time!First Day of School Breakfast! She asked for "IHOP" pancakes, so we made our own version!

The first words out of her mouth when we picked her up were, "That was the best day EVER!" Music to my ears!!!

Yea! Tell her we're so proud of her! She looks like such a big kid in her little skirt and top. And I LOVE the first pic...you'll be looking at that one every year on the first day of school.
Do you even realize what a special, precious moment you captured on film?!?! I almost burst into tears at that first picture. That is just about the most adorable thing I have ever seen.
I am so glad (for YOU) that she had such an easy time. And she looked just beautiful.
