Road Trip

This weekend the girls and I made a trip across Texas to visit our friends the Glovers! They live so far away now and we miss them soooo much!

It was wonderful to watch the girls pick up right where they left off! They played and played and played all weekend. They played babies and dress up and princesses and ponies and doctor and fashion show and puppies and went non-stop the entire time! We attempted a sleepover with all the girls in one room. It was worth a try...but definitely unsuccessful. The next night only the big girls slept in the same room, and things went much more smoothly :)

We enjoyed yummy food (hello Fuzzy's Tacos!!), a fun trip to the science museum, good shopping, and great company. It was great catching up in person and just sitting and talking while the girls entertained themselves. It's hard to believe they're all at the age where they can do that! No one needed a diaper change or a feeding or help from a mama. It was fantastic!

This was the best we could get! At least our heads made it in the picture!

The girls were begging to swim but it was about 75 degrees and windy. It didn't last long :)
Bedtime story! Can you tell how sleepy the little ones were!?
Fun at the science museum!

Rock Band!!
Getting ready for breakfast!
Thanks for having us! We miss you already!

How fun! Looks like you guys had a great time and I can't believe how grown up Macy and Paige look. A nice last summer getaway.

Macy looks GIGANTIC! Maybe Lauryn is just hunched over in that pic....

I'm sure you miss them so much. I can tell just by looking at these pictures that they all play SO great together. Hard to let friends like that go.

By the way- I would be very leery of a food establishment called Fuzzy's. Yuck. lol.

CRAP! You're going to get all excited about all your comments and then realize that three of them are from me! Sorry. :( I hate that kind of disappointment. Just wanted to tell you that I just read your Allieisms and got teary eyed. I love that little girl that I have never met! ;)

PS- I think we are going to Dallas for a week in October....
