Baseball Fun

A couple of days after the band reunion, my friend Christie invited us to go to a Rangers game with them because they had some great coupons (by the way Christie, I still owe you $2!)

It was the first game for the girls, except for the game we went to on Father's Day when Lauryn was a year old. I was honestly dreading it because of the heat, but we got seats in the shade and once the sun went down, the temperature dropped all the way down to 101 degrees.

Honestly, it wasn't bad and we had a great time soaking up the atmosphere and eating a $7 scoop of ice cream out of a plastic helmet bowl. Good times. I really enjoyed just sitting with Christie and getting a chance to catch up. We got a picture of the two of us on my phone, but I can't figure out how to get that picture on my blog. Hopefully I will come back and add it later.
