I think her teacher must really like me. She paired me with the easiest little group imaginable. No one ever got out of control, argued, whined, or went missing.
Petting a chicken...???
Picture with the stagecoach
Finished with lunch and heading off to find the bat cave (the poor little boy surrounded by girls...his only request was to see the bat cave! )
That crocodile was scary! He pressed up to the glass and didn't budge. The kids LOVED it!
I'm going to pretend this did not happen. My world is a little bubble and I like it that way. Actually, they are pretty good buddies and I don't think these things get weird until much later. I keep telling myself that.
Can't believe she did it!
Her main question was, "Does this thing eat mice??" The answer is yes, if you're wondering.
In other news, Trunk or Treat was Sunday night at our church! Dorothy and Glinda were ready to roll!
Glinda's crown was a combined effort. Brent drew the pattern and I did the sewing. Turned out pretty good! She also requested that her gown be "super long" and "not show any feet"...just like Glinda's dress in the movie. She would not let it go, and would not accept any dress that didn't gather in a pool of fabric at her feet. When she quickly realized she couldn't actually walk with her dress dragging the ground we fixed the problem with lots of safety pins.
And I totally refrained from chanting "I told you so!" at my four year old. I feel like I've grown as a person.

They look SO adorable in their costumes... great job on the crown, too!
those costumes are fabulous!
What??? Holding hands with a boy already? That's crazy.
You know I LOVE Those costumes! I say get as many miles out of them as you possibly can!
I too would be pretending I didn't see her holding hands with a yucky boy!
