Lauryn sang in the choir at church on Sunday. Here she is on the front porch as we were getting ready to get in the car. She wanted me to braid her hair down the back and put a bow at the end. She was very specific about her appearance since she would be in front of the whole church. It was so cute!She loves to sing and perform. Her little face is so serious while she's up there singing! I wish I could figure out how to post a video clip from our video camera.
The other day she "wrote" a song and performed it for us while standing on her stage (the hearth in front of the fireplace). Lyrics and melody were a Lauryn original, and I have to say, it was actually pretty good!

She is darling and way too big. I just caught up a bit on your blog. That old pic of you guys during your college years is awesome. Besides the outfit, I seriously do not see an ounce of difference in you. Crazy. It kinda makes me want to kick you.
