I've never really seriously thought to adopt it as our own personal motto until this week.
Brent was out of town for work from Sunday through Friday. For me, of course, that meant taking immediate action and getting out of this house and spending the week with both sets of grandparents.
The first half of the week we were with my parents. Of course the usual behavior ensued.
1. Skip afternoon nap
2. Eat 5 french fries for lunch
4. Finish up by devouring cotton candy flavored ice cream
5. Shop whimsical stores on downtown square
6. Look the other way as grandparent buys kid bag of jellybeans the size of quarters
The rest of our visit involved more ice cream, popsicles, and a visit to the pool.
We came home Wednesday for a brief intermission involving gymnastics class and an oil change.
Then Thursday we headed out to visit Brent's parents' house where we indulged in many of the same behaviors.
Although I have to say (and you have to agree) that there aren't many kids that are presented with this opportunity while visiting grandparents:

Grandpa has lots of horses and the girls LOVE to be around them. This was Allison's first time riding the horse and she had absolutely no fear.
We are so blessed to have wonderful grandparents who spoil us.
And I'll have to explain our new motto to Lauryn next week when she asks for a coke float followed by a sugar cookie after every meal.

I want to go to their house, too! We like to call it "detox" when we come home from Nana & King's (my parents) house for the same reasons. It takes at least a week :)
