Sunday Funnies

We were sitting at the kitchen table having lunch this afternoon, and Brent and I were reading the paper. When I noticed an article about it being 14 years since Jackie Kennedy died, I said to Brent, "I can't believe it was 14 years ago!"

Lauryn looked up and asked, "Was I even BORN yet??"

Uh, no.

Then after we were done eating, I turned to Brent and asked, "Do you want some c-a-k-e?"

Lauryn replied in a very sing-songy voice, "That spells CAKE!!!"

I guess we need to figure out a new way to talk behind her back in front of her.
