I really had to try hard to stop myself from crying as soon as I saw it. You can run your hand across it and feel every little bump. You can even see the little fat rolls around her knuckles. I just stared at it and realized that her hand will never be this little again. Not really a new concept, but it just struck me how fast time is going. I get caught up in the day to day activities and forget to really sit and think about how precious this time with them is. They really grow right before your eyes.
So I got a little sentimental and found some pictures of the girls when they were SOOOO small (although at the time I thought Lauryn was such a big girl...she was still a baby, too!) I wouldn't trade this time with my girls for anything in the world.

Oh, that hand is the most precious thing. Loved the flashback pics today ~ especially the one of Lauryn at the table. I don't remember her cheeks ever being that full (as a big girl ~ I know she had them as an infant ~ 9lb baby!!)...Precious children...
so sweet. I wish I had a hand print of Avery.
