I'm not sure I mentioned the bump on Allie's head. She was running in the house and learned the hard way why "no running in the house" is a rule. She and the piano bench had a little run-in. 
We have a cold front! It has been GORGEOUS for the past few days. Sunday afternoon/evening Brent worked in the yard all day and the girls were so happy to be outside with him (as always!) As the 5:00 hour approached and the sun started to go down, I couldn't help but laugh when they came running inside to get their gear.It was "freezing" outside, according to them! I would guess it was more like 71 degrees, but for these Texas babies just coming off of the summer season, that's like an arctic blast!

SO glad Lauryn's feeling better. And I'm glad her symptoms weren't super scary. When Hazel had it a couple years ago, she literally lay limp in my arms in the ER waiting room and I couldn't get her to wake up....but she was super tiny. And apparently super dehydrated. Sigh. Let's not talk about that. Scariest day of my life.
Glad everyone is feeling better. We might get snow in the mountains this week. Seriously.
