Anyway, school won't necessarily always be this easy-breezy, so I guess in the meantime we'll just go with the flow and I'll modify/supplement where I can at home.
I realized recently that our poor dog gets no love on the blog. Hope is going to be 9 years old on her next birthday. She is such a huge part of our family but often gets lost "behind the scenes". As the girls are getting older, they play with Hope daily and love to take care of her (their job is to feed her and they take turns doing that in the morning and evening).
Hope is the sweetest dog I've ever met. She is so loyal and loving. She pretty much lets the girls do whatever they want. She's never once growled, snapped, or barked at them (unless they're playing...she loves to chase Allie around the house, barking as they play!)
Here is Princess Hope, wearing her "crown" (I believe it came with one of our many Barbies.)
Hope loves to sleep in the girls' room. She doesn't necessarily stay in one spot very long, though, so we took advantage of this sweet moment. Although by the looks of it, there were probably lots of other places Hope would've rather been. She's also not a fan of being held down by force (can't imagine why!)...but she puts up with it anyway.Have a great weekend!

Okay- I'm seriously blown away by that picture of Lauryn. amazing
I have begged Nathan for a Hope since I met her. Best dog ever. She is so beautiful and sweet and mild. I love her.
I know what you're talking about with school. I feel like at least the first month is all about figuring out what level all the kids are on. It's so frustrating. But there school does a pretty good job of then putting them in little clusters based on their level of learning. Does your's do that?
sigh....THEIR school.
"At first her name was Hope. And then we called her Hopers. And then she was a Bopers. And now her name is Bo!" I love Ms. Hopey!!
Yeah, that pic of Lauryn is amazing. So cool!!
Hope is precious, especially as a princess.
