100th Post!

**EDITED TO ADD**
It has been brought to my attention that I am the meanest mother in the world, and also that I have the poorest math skills of anyone alive. Poor Allison! I wondered why it seemed like I got through her list so fast! I guess that's what happens when you try to divide your time between blogging, making dinner, and actually watching your children. I have now added Allie's additional 10. Thanks Lisa and Jess for letting me know!
*********************************************************************************
Ok, I just noticed that I have 100 posts! It seems like only yesterday this was just a tiny little blog, finding its way onto the internet scene. And now, 100 posts later, it is still a tiny little blog on the big internet scene. But I still love it (and hopefully you do too, or you wouldn't be reading :)

So since this whole blog is about my children, I thought I would write 100 things about them. 50 for each girl. Starting with Lauryn first because she's the oldest (all of you younger siblings are probably rolling your eyes at that one...but I'm an "oldest" so you'll have to deal with the fact that this is just the way it is:)

If you end up reading through all of these, I applaud you! I could, of course, list a million things about each of my children and never get bored. Again, just the way it is.

Lauryn:
1. She was born in Grapevine, Tx. five days past her due date.
2. I had an emergency c-section.
3. She had breathing difficulties and was in the NICU for 3 days.
3. Those were the worst days of my life.
4. She was a 9 lb 2 oz baby in the NICU, so that did provide some comic relief during our hourly visits...you couldn't miss her in that room!
5. Lauryn was an extremely easy baby, sleeping through the night at 6 weeks old.
6. She was completely bald.
7. She loved to be swaddled.
8. You had to work to get a smile or laugh out of her!
9. She was born two weeks before my birthday.
10. Her nursery colors were green, pink, and yellow.
11. She loved to eat.
12. Her favorites were macaroni and cheese, mandarin oranges, and yogurt.
13. Lauryn was extremely verbal, speaking in 2-3 word sentences by 18 months.
14. She would cry as soon as the nurse called her name at the doctor's office!
15. She has an extremely tender heart.
16. Babies were one of her favorite first toys.
17. She loved to feed them.
18. Every time I asked her what she was feeding the doll, it was always "puddin'".
19. She was not a fan of the water, but it's getting much better now that we're in a semester's worth of swimming lessons!
20. She loves to play with her hair and twists it all the time.
21. She enjoys playing outside, but doesn't like to be dirty.
22. Her biggest adventure so far has been flying on an airplane, and she LOVED it!
23. She loves our dog, but she is afraid of other people's dogs.
24. If cheese were the only food left on Earth, she would be content.
25. If dresses were the only clothing option left on Earth, she would be content.
26. She loves to sing and perform, and is so fun to watch!
27. Pink is not her favorite, and she will choose any color before pink.
28. She loves school.
29. She talks about all of her friends all of the time.
30. Each night before bed, she asks what we're doing the next day.
31. First thing after waking up, she asks what we're doing that day.
32. When she was little, she could be bribed with lemonade to do just about anything.
33. It especially worked during photo shoots at the portrait studio; She would smile for anyone if she knew we were getting lemonade afterward!

35. Lauryn has an extremely sensitive heart and wears her emotions on her sleeve.
36. She is extremely emotional.
37. She is just like her mother.

41. Lauryn knows all her letters and sounds, and is starting to read.
42. She can write all of the capital letters, and most of the lowercase.

45. She adores her sister and loves to play with her.

17. The doll stroller is one of her favorite toys.
18. She's 100% attached to her pink lovie, which she calls "baby".
19. We got "baby" when we were weaning her from the swaddle because it was something she could hold onto instead of flailing her arms and waking herself up!

Well, as a younger sibling I'm saying that poor Allie got gipped...only 40? I mean, Lauryn got 50, but I guess 40 is "good enough" for the poor younger child. :) But, despite the oversight, I'm still impressed that you not only realized it was your 100th post, but also blogged about it. A true blogger!

That was so much fun to read. They are so opposite in so many ways! You're lucky with Lauryn- Owen gets up at 5:30. :) BTW- That shirt is from good ole Marshalls.
