So our kids don't really lose their teeth. Between the two of them, they have had TEN teeth pulled. Neither have lost a tooth the natural way. It is a veeery sore subject in our house. Poor Lauryn has had the worst luck with it. Her permanant teeth come in behind the baby teeth every.single.time. One of her biggest wishes is to just pull a tooth out on her own.

Ahhh, to have such problems. :)

Anyway, all of this is about to change. Allie has a very loose tooth and it looks like it's going to be the very first natural tooth loss in our household! She actually has two others loose at the same time, so we're getting ready for some very exciting times around here!

Ok, if teeth gross you out, you might want to skip the pictures. Teeth gross me out. Even my own kids' teeth. When it comes time for teeth-pullin', it's either going to have to be on their own or go find Daddy. I don't do teeth. Or vomit. But that's another blog post altogether.

Anyway, Allie is super proud that she can almost completely close her mouth and still have her tooth poking out over her lip. She thinks it's the greatest thing ever and spends a lot of time looking at that tooth in the mirror.

This morning before school, she came into my room like this. Except she was also "hopping" - like a rabbit.
I love starting my day with a good belly laugh and tears in my eyes.
