The girls made some coasters with their Grandpa back at Christmas time. He has a workshop out in his barn and all the grand-kids were gathered there, making various treasures out of leather.
The coasters still sit on our kitchen table. This morning Lauryn was looking at them and said, "Which one of these is your favorite?"
Since I'm somewhat experienced with this parenting thing by now, I knew better than to answer that one. Allie made two of those coasters, and Lauryn made the other two.
So I said, "That's like asking me which kid is my favorite!"
Allie looks up and chimes in, "Me??!"
I kind of admire her confidence.
