Trying it Out

A friend from Allie's class at preschool asked her if she would like to play on their soccer team this season. I let Allie make the choice, and she said she wanted to try it. So here we are...signed up to play for the "Ladybugs" for the next six Saturdays (yikes!)

It will be interesting to see if this is her "thing" and how much (or little) she enjoys it. I am always open to the girls trying something new. Just because it isn't necessarily something I'd enjoy, it might be the greatest thing to them.

Her first practice was last night. Allie has three other friends from her class on the team, and one of their dads is the coach (bless his heart). He seemed to do a great job with them and appears to have a lot of patience :)

In the end, she said she LOVED soccer practice. Hopefully the game will be just as fun :) Look for lots of soccer pictures over the next few weeks!
