Our New Addition

We brought our new addition home last night! We got the new Honda Pilot and I love it already.

We also said goodbye to the Accord we've had for the past ten years. It's always sad to me when we get rid of one of our cars (we traded in Brent's F150 before Allie was born, back when gas was $97 a gallon...it was sad then, too!)

The Accord was an awesome car...and our very first major purchase as a married couple. Two weeks after we bought it, a huge buzzard flew right into the side of it as we drove down the highway and put a small dent in the door (true story). I drove that car to my first teaching job. We brought Lauryn home from the hospital in the Accord. It made the commute with Brent to work every day for the past four years. I parked it right next to Kenny Chesney's tour bus last year. Seriously. That car was LOADED with memories.

I'm looking forward to all the memories we're going to make in the new one!
