I've always wondered if I had "the look". The one that moms somehow inherit and use as a silent reminder of what should be said or done.
Tonight I was putting dinner on the table and Lauryn walked in. When she saw that we were having leftovers from the casserole I made last night, she turned up her nose.
Lauryn: "We're having this AGAIN?!"
*insert The Look*
Lauryn: "Oh. Thanks for dinner, Mom!"
Guess I've got it down.

HA!! I know I've got it too.
Oh my gosh! That's amazing. You have those kids so well trained. Either I do NOT have the look, or my kids are just extra amounts of bad.
Ha! It's good that she knew something kind to say and to appreciate that she had dinner after she saw The Look!
I'm sue you got tat look down YEARS ago.. but back then it was your "teacher stare"... I've finally got that one down. No words need to be said! :)
