Making Their Daddy Proud

Lauryn's school hosts a 1K Fun Run/5K/10K for families and the community. It was our first year to participate and we weren't sure what to expect. Luckily we bundled up enough that the cooooold temps didn't bother us too much. We did the 1K and Lauryn and Brent ran the whole time, while Allie and I walked it (still didn't want her running, although she is feeling much better).

Brent used to do Fun Runs and races all the time as a kid, so this was a special day for him to share with the girls. We went straight to Cracker Barrel for a yummy breakfast to celebrate crossing the finish line :)
