On a TOTALLY unrelated note, I had to share our latest hair adventure. Having one girl with tons of wavy curls and one girl with straight-as-a-board hair definitely keeps me on my toes. I always love to try new things with their hair, and love it when the same "style" works on both girls...especially on the days when Allie wants her hair to be "just like Lauryn's".
Well, today I learned how to french braid! I'm so excited because it works on BOTH girls and they each gave their approval (another important step in the experimentation process.)
These pictures are a little dark but it gives a general idea...I think she looks adorable (and actually, a little too grown up :(
Not too bad for the first try? We'll practice a lot more next week so I'll be sure to have it down when I have to do it in a hurry on school days!

And...I learned it from watching videos on YouTube. Crazy, right?!

That IS good! I just have issues with Emma Kate sitting still long enough. :) I learned how to braid my own hair so it's harder for me to do someone else's. Weird, I know.
What videos? I need to learn how to french braid. You did such a good job!
Great job Nicole! I found this website from youtube, and you might have already seen it. I don't have little girls to do them one, just my nieces from time to time. Just wanted to share with you.
