L: "This is my sissy…she’s 2 and I’m 4. Don’t worry little fella…you’ll be ok."
A: (repeating) "You're ok."
I thought maybe they were playing with dolls (which is so cute because they have elaborate conversations with their dolls all the time, so this was nothing new).
As I came into the room, I saw this.

That would be my children, talking to a dead bug.
It's a sort of june bug/beetle looking thing. We have seen a few (mostly on their backs with their legs up in the air) outside the front door and in the garage. This guy must have made his way inside and apparently didn't get too far.
Lauryn thought long and hard and said, "Mom…he looks so sad being dead. Can we catch him and put him in the garage? That other dead beetle in there must be his friend."
We'll say a prayer for the beetle friends tonight, hoping they are crawling around in bug heaven. Together forever.

What sweet little girls. They have your caring, sweet nature. I love it!
Hilarious!!! I had to read this one to Nathan. He always gets annoyed when I read him stories from people's blogs that he doesn't even know. But this one made him laugh.
Oh my goodness...you should not do this to me so early in the morning. I can't stop laughing!
