The fever has hit

We're working on getting into full Halloween mode around here! I have to admit it's not my favorite holiday, but it is fun to watch Lauryn get excited about dressing up.

I am happy to report that I no longer have to agonize over how to come up with a costume appropriate enough for a 4 year old, while still being obvious that she is dressed as Taylor Swift. That was a task I just didn't have the energy for. If you'll remember, that was all she talked about when the subject of Halloween came up.

Thankfully we turned a corner and she happily agreed to be Tinkerbell. And even more thankfully, we already have the entire costume including the wand (thanks, Grandma!)

So we are up to our knees in Halloween talk and excitement.

Even the stuffed friends around the house are getting in on the action.

This is 100% a Lauryn original. I love just letting her take over the craft box to see what she comes up with. This, I was not expecting. She needed help with the string, but I thought it was pretty adorable that she made a Halloween mask for her dog all by herself!

We're in for another busy week around here. I have a craft show in two weeks that I am frantically getting ready for (fingers are literally sore from bow-making!) but my goal is to post at least two times this week. Cross your fingers!
