Super Six!

Another birthday post - why won't these kids quit growing!? Our baby girl turned six years old! She wanted to ice skate for her birthday, so she invited a few friends and we had a small party at the skating rink. It was in the middle of the week, so the crowds were light and we were home by 7 p.m...perfect!

Allie has changed so much in one year. She has completed kindergarten! She went from not really saying anything to her teacher in the beginning of the year to acting out the part of the gingerbread man in the Gingerbread Man play they put on in class! She is reading more and more, and is looking forward to first grade (not something I could have said back in May when she didn't want to leave kindergarten!)

I interviewed her to see how many of her answers changed from last year. She makes us laugh daily and is such a sweet joy to be around. We love our sweet, smiling Allie! :)

What is something you are good at: T-ball (this cracks me up because she didn't like to play at all!)

What do you want to be when you grow up: A teacher before I have kids
What is your favorite song: Taylor Swift songs (we never listen to T.S. so this was funny too!)
What is your favorite book: Fancy Nancy
What is your least favorite food: Pepperoni
What do you like most about turning six: I get to go to first grade! (Wow!)
