BUSY Weekend!

I'm not sure we were ready for Monday morning after the crazy busy (but fun!) weekend we had!

Saturday morning we had our usual soccer game. Allie is pretty much done with soccer. She is going to try T-ball next season to see if it's something she would enjoy.

She isn't enjoying the running part of the soccer games. She complains of her legs being tired before the first quarter is even finished. If there were no running, soccer would be a dream.

But running is kind of important in soccer. And she doesn't like to run. At all.

She is my child. It can't be denied.

Unfortunately neither of our girls inherited their Daddy's love for running. Oh, how I wish they did! He truly amazes me at his commitment and dedication - going out to run in the evenings after the girls have gone to sleep.

While I sit on the couch with my iphone and the remote. Let's just be honest.

We were so excited to go cheer him on in the Firefly Run Saturday night. It's a 5K/10K race that happens at night and runners wear LED lights and glow sticks - really neat to watch thousands of people "glowing" down the street!

He beat his personal best time and we couldn't be more proud! Yay Daddy!

To complete our fun weekend, we went to see the Broadway musical Mary Poppins in Fort Worth! It was so much fun to get dressed up and take the girls to see their first musical. They loved it!

The weeks are flying by and it will be summer before we know it! The girls are still both doing so well at school. I am already emotional at the thought of Allie being almost done with kindergarten. It is unbelievable how fast time flies by. We work hard every day to enjoy every minute with these cuties!
