Family

We celebrated my dad's 60th birthday a couple of weeks ago! We had a great little party with family. My cousin graciously hosted everyone at her home, and my aunt (Dad's sister) was in town for a visit!

My cousin's daughter is so great with Allie. She is the only person who can play with Allie's hair. She cries for anyone else (including me and my mom) because she says "it hurts". The child has the most tender head of anyone I have ever known. But sweet A can braid her hair all day long and she doesn't make a sound. Not fair.

This next picture was taken in 2007. Look at my BABIES!! Sniff, sniff :( My dad and Grandpa have the same smile :) My dad looks more and more like my Grandpa all the time. And it's not just the white hair :) It will be three years this spring since Grandpa passed away, although it seems like yesterday. The older I get, the more I value time spent with family. Life is too short to take for granted the people that God put in your life for a purpose.
